VIDEO: Lady cries after meeting an ‘old time rich friend’ selling vegetables at market

After meeting a “old time rich friend,” a Nigerian woman has given men some advise.

She recorded her chance encounter with the acquaintance, who had previously married a wealthy man, on a video.

The woman, who goes by @ ogesworld3 on TikTok, described how witnessing her friend selling veggies on the market made her feel hurt.

She claimed that her friend’s spouse had experienced difficulties, leaving her and their family on their own.

The woman used the occasion to give men advise while expressing worry for her friend’s predicament.

She emphasized the value of empowering women through business in her video.

She advised wealthy men to start enterprises for their spouses, arguing that this may act as a safety net in difficult financial times.

She pointed out that if her husband had made an investment in a business for her, her friend’s life might have turned out differently.

As she put it: “I saw my old time rich friend selling vegetables. Once you are capable, open a business for your wife. I saw this my old time friend selling vegetables in the market. I was like nwunye odogwu (rich man’s wife) what happened? She told me what happened to her husband and her husband can no longer do business as they have setback and she now started selling vegetables. If this man had opened shop for her since, they could have been eating from that shop. Men, if you have money and you’re good to go, open a business for your wife.”
