A video of Nollywood icons Patience Ozokwor, Nkem Owoh, and Pete Edochie’s audacious boat ride through Delta State’s rivers has gone viral online, garnering a lot of praise and laughter.

The renowned actors were travelling to Benikrukru Town as distinguished guests for Gbaramatu Kingdom’s eagerly awaited Christmas Carnival.

The event organisers posted a video of the three of them riding a fast-moving boat through the waves while the wind roared around them.

Nkem Owoh and Patience Ozokwor held on to their life jackets securely, their faces showing a mixture of cautious wonder at the river’s might and uneasiness.

But it was Pete Edochie’s imposing presence that stole the show. The iconic actor, who was not wearing a life jacket, sat in a stoic defiance, his composed manner conveying an unwavering authority, as if even the turbulent waters submitted to him.

Since then, the video has gone viral and received a lot of responses from fans who applauded their courage and acknowledged their ongoing impact on Nigerian cinema.
