A humorous wedding video that was uploaded online has sparked online conversation. Following an unexpected declaration made by the bride’s father to the husband during the wedding

The social media video shows the father giving his daughter away, but not before he made a comment that had a lot of people talking.

In the widely shared video, the bride’s father claimed that a wife does not have to cook for her husband after handing his daughter to the groom.

He counseled the bridegroom to reject the conventional idea that, as the leader of the household, he should return home from work scowling and demanding food.

He questioned who had told them that their women had to prepare meals for them, stressing that no one is required to do so merely to please their husbands or gain entry into Al-Jannah, which is Arabic for “paradise.”

His wife could attest to this, he continued, for on occasion when he got home, she informed him that there was no food, but he accepted it without protest.

Speaking to the groom, he said, “Don’t believe in what this our culture brings, that you are the head of the family, when you return from work, you frown your face and shouting, ‘Look where is my food.”

“Who told you she has to cook for you. Nobody is voluntary to cook for you just because she want to make you happy and enter Al-jannah and she goes extra mile, Walahi, my wife can testify to this, at times when I enter my house and she says there is no food, all is good.”
