Chi Odette, a Nigerian woman living in Cameroon, has come forward to refute the material in a BBC documentary about the late Prophet TB Joshua.
Chi Odette refuted the assertions of a few of his former followers by sharing firsthand accounts during her 2017 visit to the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN).
Chi Odette, who had come from Cameroon to worship at the SCOAN, described her experience with Prophet TB Joshua as genuine and truthful.
She asserted that the late prophet could not have performed the atrocities he was accused of despite what former disciples claimed in the documentary.
Chi Odette stated that because of her closeness to the church, she was invited to join the staff during her visit.
She refuted the claims of secrecy made by certain former members, saying that everything she saw while working at the SCOAN was transparent and not secret.
“This is my personal experience of working with this great man of God; the stories are out there; anyone can choose what to believe,” Chi Odette stated.
The woman continued by telling how TB Joshua had prayed for her. Chi Odette refuted the claims made by others that former disciples were compelled or pressured into working for the church.
She claimed that no one tried to stop her or put pressure on her to stay employed by the church after she decided to return to Cameroon.
