After sharing a very intimate and unique story about her ex-boyfriend, who allegedly had adult bedwetting during their year-long relationship, a Nigerian woman has sparked discussion on social media.
The woman posted a video and a description of the horror she went through in quiet on her X (previously Twitter) page.
“Life was so private, nobody knew I dated a man who wet the bed,” she wrote. “Every morning, he’d ask me to carry his soaked mattress downstairs and wash the bedsheets he urinated on, just so the neighbors would believe I was the one responsible.”
She disclosed that the relationship lasted for a full year and detailed the lengths she went to in order to keep his secret in her follow-up remarks. “You needed to see how fast I used to run to hide the mattress before anyone saw me,” she added.
Her tweet immediately went viral, sparking a flurry of responses from people who were shocked, empathetic, and curious. Some questioned why she stayed in the relationship for so long, while others praised her for enduring such a circumstance.
