Two children were allegedly dismissed from a school called Aunty Joy after a parent voiced concerns and refused to pay a ₦15,000 party charge.

The mother expressed her annoyance on social media, stating that the school provided two distinct accounts for the party charge and tuition.

Since she had no interest in the party, she simply paid the tuition; however, it has been stated that the school utilized the funds for the party, providing a receipt for the levy and using the remaining funds for tuition.

Her child was expelled, his books were shut out, and she was prohibited from accessing the school after she requested an explanation.

Outside the school entrance, protesting, she said : “The management of Aunty Joy School told the teachers to give me back my school fees. They said they’re chasing my kids out because I complained and refused to pay for the party.”

“We were given different accounts for tuition and party fees. We paid for tuition, but they issued a party levy receipt instead. Now they’ve asked the teachers to bring my child’s things out because we complained about the ₦15,000 party fee.”
