David Ibiyeomie, the lead pastor of Salvation Ministries, has cautioned Christians against using online platforms for worship without making offerings.
The 62-year-old cleric stated in a social media post that anyone who attends online services without making an offering need to go offline.
Regarding the preacher’s lesson, a number of internet users had conflicting opinions. According to some, he enjoys concentrating on tithes and offerings.
Others, on the other hand, agreed with the pastor and emphasised the value of giving offerings. It wouldn’t be the first time that Ibiyeomie would become popular for his giving sermons, but that doesn’t stop him from expressing his convictions.
