In a video posted on BBC News Africa, Rachel, a former follower of the late pastor TB Joshua, described her time living with him. She told him about the night he called her to his room, told his assistants to get out of the bedroom where they were sleeping, and then locked the doors, turned down the lights, and asked her to pull down her panties.

She also mentioned that when they were tired and sleepy in the middle of the night, specifically between three and five in the morning, Pastor TB Joshua would call them and ask them to discuss their Bible notes with him in his bedroom.

Rachel said that one evening, Pastor TB Joshua asked her to come to his bedroom, where he showed her kindness and affection while asking how she was doing. Additionally, he expressed faith that God would use her to make significant contributions to the church.
