Pastor William Kumuyi, the general overseer (GO) of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, led prayers in America as the globe gets ready for Donald Trump’s inauguration as US president.

At the first prayer and praise gathering for the soon-to-be 47th American leader in Washington, D.C., Kumuyi became spiritual.

The Nigerian pastor met with Pastor Lucas Miles of Turning Point USA and Congressman Robert Pittenger on Saturday, January 18, after being invited to the United States.

A two-minute video of Pastor Kumuyi during Trump’s praise meeting was tweeted by @TheoAbuAgada, a popular X (previously Twitter) user.

He wrote: “What a time to be alive!! Pastor W.F. Kumuyi leading Prayers at President Trump’s Inaugural Prayer and Praise Meeting happening in Washington D.C.”

Kumuyi, 83, offered his prayers on the global Christian shift during the occasion in America.

Pastor Kumuyi’s attendance was anticipated to highlight the importance of religious freedom and Christian unity at the event, according to Larry Ross Communications, a public relations agency based in the United States.

At the event, Kumuyi prayed for Trump to be wise and for the Lord to give the new president the courage to confront authority.

His words: “Let us pray, Almighty God. We thank You and bless Your name. What a great and glorious God you are. And what a gathering we have this afternoon. I want to thank You, Lord, for the church in America. You said, upon this rock, You would build Your church – not just for that generation but for every generation, and You say the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.

“Lord, we come in preparation for the celebration of Donald Trump, the president tomorrow. We’re asking that You will grant him wisdom, and You will grant the church the unity, the revival, the knowledge, the vision, and the forthrightness to speak the truth to power. And we pray, as You connect the church with the leader, that it will be a pleasing unity, that You will help the President, and that the church will remain the church.

“Revive Your church, restore Your church, and purge Your church so that there will be the holiness and the righteousness You expect for Your church, and the church will have a meaningful ministry in the government and America.”

Biggs claimed in a video that he had received a vision from God that cryptocurrency, or “crypto,” would prevent the US economy from collapsing under Trump’s leadership and that there would be a “rocket take off with crypto.”
