Actress Elvina Ibru has talked openly about a traumatic experience she had when armed robbers sexually raped her during a break-in at her boyfriend’s house.

In an interview on With Chude, Elvina talked about how she had a distressing encounter with one of the nurses when she went to the hospital for treatment after the assault.

She claimed that a fellow woman, the nurse, inappropriately questioned her about her attire at the time of the encounter. Elvina said she was shocked and disappointed by the nurse’s comment.

In her words: “When I got to the hospital, a nurse actually asked me, ‘Madam, when the man raped you, what were you wearing?’ I couldn’t believe a woman could ask that. I looked at her and said, ‘What has that got to do with anything?”
