A Nigerian woman has expressed her outrage after her late husband’s brothers evicted her from her house ten days after his death.

User @ChuksEricE posted this tragic tale on the social media site X, which was once Twitter.

In the post, the woman describes the struggle she is going through.

She disclosed that her husband had been gravely ill and that they had spent millions of naira on medical care in the hopes that he would recover, but he had died.

She opposed his family’s desire to sell his land in spite of this.

She recently received a frightening call after dropping her son off at school, telling her that her things were piled outside and that her house’s roof had been removed.

In her own words: “Since my husband fell sick, no one helped him; we suffered. We spent a lot of money, almost ₦12.8 million on his treatment. We did not sell the land. Ten days after his death, they removed everything from my house. I had gone to buy something and taken my son to school when I got the call. When I rushed home, I saw all my belongings outside.”
