The mother of Afrobeats artist Davido’s child, Imade Adeleke, Sophia Momodu, is a well-known fashion influencer. She has vehemently defended herself and her daughter against nasty and untrue rumours that have been directed at them.

She made a post on her TikTok on Friday, December 13, where she typically shares her vibrant and enjoyable “TikTok Story” moments with her devoted followers. It was supposed to be another fun session, full of the charisma and intimacy that her fans value.

Things took a worrying turn during the live session. A few followers began circulating untrue and cruel remarks about Sophia and her family.

Sophia, who was obviously outraged, spoke out against these lies. She wanted the session to end right away.

Though initially unsure, her daughter Imade Adeleke helped guide the conversation in a more positive direction.

She felt conflicted about protecting her family and remaining composed, but in the end, she stood with her mother, her voice trembling as she spoke out against the hurtful stories. 

Her eyes were filled with sadness, and her tone conveyed the pain as she shared her mother’s rage, promising that this would be their last appearance on TikTok.

Sophia, speaking in a firm and unwavering voice, backed up her daughter’s statements, saying they would stop using the platform and that “you won’t hear from us again.”
