What I will do about podcasts if I were president – Toolz

Tolu Oniru, better known by her stage name Toolz, is a well-known media personality from Nigeria. She has stated that if she were president, individuals would need to get permission before launching podcasts.

Before approving such a request, she claimed she would also put aspiring podcasters through a mental examination.

In her most recent podcast, The Off Air Show, the OAP discussed.

“If I was ever to become President, you will have to apply to do a podcast. You will have to write an English proficiency test and also do a sanity test,” she said.

Nigeria is experiencing a boom in podcast culture, with many of its hosts and guests igniting debates on social media with their “outrageous” assertions and “provocative” remarks.

As a result, some social media users have demanded that podcasting be restricted in Nigeria.
