Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of River State, Alex Otti, the governor of Abia State, Biodun Oyebamiji of Ekiti, and others have arrived at Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun’s private home in Iperu Remo for the Southern Governors’ Forum meeting on Wednesday.
Charles Soludo of Anambra State, Peter Mbah of Enugu, and Governor Francis Nwifiru of Ebonyi State were among the others present at the time this story was filed.
Deputy governors Peter Odey of Cross River State, Kola Adewusi of Osun State, and Bayo Lawal of Oyo State have also arrived at the meeting location.
The 17 governors from the southern region of the nation are scheduled to meet strategically “to deliberate on pressing national issues,” according to ZINGTIE.
A joint engagement with the Southern Traditional Rulers Council is scheduled for today at 1:00 p.m., according to a statement made by the Ogun State Governor and Forum Chairman.
