Wizkid versus Davido: Linda Ikeji chooses better singer

Renowned blogger Linda Ikeji has made her preference clear when asked to choose between two of Nigeria’s top music stars, Wizkid and Davido.

In a recent interview with Pulse, she was posed the question and, though slightly hesitant, chose Davido over Wizkid.

The interviewer asked: “Wizkid or Davido?”

Ikeji replied: “Davido by far.”

Her response didn’t come as a shock to many, given her long-standing conflict with Wizkid. Their dispute dates back to 2016, when Ikeji published a report alleging that Wizkid had received an eviction notice from his home in Lekki.

The disagreement escalated quickly, with Wizkid lashing out at the blogger on social media and even threatening to have his teenage cousin confront her physically.

The online confrontation continued for several months and eventually drew the attention of law enforcement. Despite attempts to broker peace, the tension between the two has lingered over the years, with no signs of reconciliation.
