A mother, devastated by her daughter’s abduction during travel to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) camp, has made a heartfelt appeal to Nigerians for assistance.

The woman is seen in a video weeping openly in a market and pleading with passersby to assist her in fundraising for her daughter’s release.
The post states that the victim, Binuyo Lateefah, who had recently graduated in Mass Communication from Kwara State Polytechnic, was kidnapped in Kogi State while en route to the NYSC orientation camp in Taraba State.
She is said to be the only child of her mother.
It is reported that the kidnappers are asking for a ransom of ₦30 million, but up to this point, the family has managed to gather only ₦1 million.
“Update: The kidnappers are demanding ₦30M, but only ₦1M has been raised. Binuyo Lateefah, a recent Mass Comm’ graduate of Kwara Poly, is the only child of her mother. She was kidnapped in Kogi, on her way to NYSC camp Taraba State,” Trending explained on X.
