Yomi Fabiyi Alleges Assassination Attempt, Flees Nigeria (Video)

After evading an alleged assassination attempt, wellknown Nollywood actress Yomi Fabiyi has left Nigeria via air. The actor announced this after he failed to lead a scheduled protest at the Lagos State Assembly on Monday, September 30, 2024, and after missing the late singer Mohbad’s coroner court appearance.

Fabiyi planned a protest for September 30, which happened to be the day the coroner’s investigation into Mohbad’s death resumed, according to a previous story from the New Telegraph.

The actor explained that he had just escaped an attempted assassination two days prior, which put his life in jeopardy.

The currently hiding Fabiyi revealed an alleged scheme to ruin his life over Mohbad’s case in a now-controversial video posted on his Instagram page.

“They will now waste me all because I’m fighting for Justice. I didn’t collect money from anybody. I am just doing my own for God. I have to run for my life. I just left Nigeria unplanned and as it is now I don’t even know my destination,”
