Popular Nigerian actress and producer, Funke Akindele, has emphasized that success and achieving great things in life require a willingness to do the “dirty work.”

Speaking on the WithChude podcast, Akindele explained that doing the tough, often unseen work is essential for anyone looking to excel in their career. She also pointed to hard work, dedication, and taking responsibility as key factors for success.

Revealing the secrets to her most talked-about successes, Akindele said, “Let me say that a lot of people want to do what I am doing, but I keep telling them: for you to be successful, you need to work hard and do the dirty work.”

She explained that despite her current success in the industry, she stays focused on her work and does not let past achievements distract her.

While acknowledging the role of spirituality in her journey, she stressed the importance of self-awareness and originality in making progress in the entertainment industry.
