According to the ZINGTIE, Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has stated that his team is prepared for its 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff matchup with Gabon.

Morocco will host the playoff semifinal match on Thursday, the 13th.

In the final, the victor will play either Cameroon or the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is among the many elite players in Gabon’s squad.

Chelle promised to devise a strategy to halt their adversary.

“I can tell you that they have a very good coach with good philosophy. This is the finals and the most important thing is for us to focus on our team,” Chelle said in an interview with Eagle FM.

“My job now is to analyse Gabon, and to think about the way we must approach the game. Maybe I will like to defend for the entire 90 minutes of the game or I will increase the pressure on the players.”
