The public now has access to a toll-free emergency number as part of Northwest Operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD)’s commitment to bolster security and guarantee civilian safety.
The information was revealed in a statement released on Friday by Lt. Suleiman Omale, Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, 1 Brigade Nigerian Army Gusau.
The declaration claims that the Toll-free number is a component of OPHD’s all-encompassing plan to fight banditry both inside and outside of its Area of Responsibility.
The statement explained that, “The newly launched toll-free line, 08000020202, is now available for emergency, complaint, and distress calls.
“OPHD urges members of the public to make responsible use of this line,” stressing that accurate and timely reporting can be extremely important in the battle against banditry.
Under OPHD’s, the Army declared its dedication to using cutting-edge tactics to re-establish regional security and peace.
It was mentioned that OPHD persisted in its commitment to safeguarding people and property and that public cooperation was essential to the mission’s accomplishment.
