Former President Muhammadu Buhari has reiterated his dedication to the All Progressives Congress (APC), declaring that he will continue to support the party’s principles and remain a devoted member.

Buhari stressed that he does not want any doubt about his political affiliation in a statement posted on his verified Facebook page by his spokeswoman, Garba Shehu.

“I am an APC member, and I like to be addressed as such. I will try to popularize the party by all means,” he declared.

The former president called it the greatest honor and conveyed his sincere gratitude for the APC’s support both before and throughout his two terms in office.

He reaffirmed his dedication to the development of the party that put him in power and promised that he would never abandon it.

Buhari’s statement comes amid ongoing internal debates and leadership disagreements inside the ruling party, even though he did not specifically address any political problems or people that are currently dominating conversations within the APC.

Additionally, he commended the APC’s founding fathers for their efforts in creating a solid political platform that upholds democracy and the constitution, emphasizing the need to preserve and foster these sacrifices.
