Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi, the Kano Government House’s reinstated Emir, has arrived. 

According to Daily Trust, Sanusi will formally get his appointment letter and return to his position as the state’s only first-class Emir. 

After receiving security advice, a low-key homecoming reception was arranged for the Emir, who landed in Kano late Thursday. 

The development indicates that all is ready for the highly awaited occasion that will mark the Emir’s first public appearance since his reinstatement.

By 10 am, Sanusi is supposed to be at the Africa House in the Kano Government House for a mini-durbar ceremony. From there, he is supposed to go to the palace of the Nassarawa Emir and conduct the Friday prayers at the Kano Central mosque, which is housed in the palace in Kofar Kudu.
