On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu declared the names of the new ministers.

Each of the new ministers who were presented to Tinubu’s cabinet during the Federal Executive Council, or FEC, meeting is briefly profiled by ZINGTIE.

1. Odinakachukwu Bianca Olivia Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Born on August 5, 1968,  is a politician, diplomat, lawyer, businesswoman, and former beauty pageant champion.

    She is the widow of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the former president of Biafra. She has also won titles in other international pageants, including Miss Africa, Miss Intercontinental, and Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria.

    She served as Nigeria’s ambassador to Ghana and Spain before becoming a presidential advisor.

    She was named the new Minister of State, Foreign Affairs by President Tinubu.

    2. Barr. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, previously the Minister of State for Water Resources and Sanitation, is now the Minister of State for Works.

    3. Dr. Morufu Olatunji Alausa, previously the Minister of State for Health, is now appointed Minister of Education.

    4. Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, assumed the position of Minister of Women Affairs who was previously the Minister of State for Police Affairs.

    5. Senator John Owan Enoh , previously the Minister of Sports Development, is now the Minister of State for Trade and Investment (Industry).

    6. Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite is the new Minister of State for Finance and formerly the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment.

    7. Ayodele Olawande was promoted to the position of Minister of Youth Development from his previous position as Minister of State for Youth Development.
