Marcus Rashford, a forward for Manchester United, is expected to turn down eight clubs as he gets ready to depart the Premier League team.

AC Milan is negotiating with the 27-year-old, but the transaction is probably going to be an initial loan.

Negotiations have gone well since Rashford’s representative traveled to Italy earlier this week.

Rashford would be reunited with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a former United teammate who currently holds an executive position at the San Siro, if he were to join Milan.

Rashford is also acquainted with three players from the England national team who play for the Rossoneri: Fikayo Tomori, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Tammy Abraham.

However, he would be declining other teams’ offers. Three of these come from Saudi Arabia. Bundesliga powerhouse Borussia Dortmund was rumored to be interested, as were Premier League teams Tottenham and West Ham.

Juventus and recently promoted Como were among the teams associated in Italy.

Rashford was initially predicted to sign with Barcelona, however a deal was not possible because to the La Liga powerhouses’ financial difficulties.

If the deal with Milan is completed as soon as possible, United will be pleased. However, the Red Devils were expecting for a long-term agreement and are worth £40 million for Rashford, who makes £325,000 a week.
