The EmeBest Foundation, a non-profit organisation with headquarters in Akwa Ibom State, has given 25 students fully funded scholarships totalling N30 million to cover their tuition costs for the duration of their university studies.
Speaking on Thursday, it’s founder, Mrs. Eme Udoidiong, thanked God for the chance to give the beneficiaries hope and joy, particularly in these trying times, as she presented the items to them at the Eka Eruk Eshiet community in the Etim Ekpo Local Government Area of the state.
She said, “The best investment we can make is in our women’s and children’s education and welfare.
Additionally, 1,000 children received back-to-school packs, complete with essential supplies such as books, math sets, and toys
“To alleviate the financial burden on families during the festive period, 2,000 women received wrappers and foodstuffs, including bags of rice, garri, beans, tomatoes, oil, beverages, and cartons of noodles.
“We are committed to continuing our philanthropic efforts, spreading love, joy, and hope to those who need it most.” She said
A scholarship worth N30,000,000 (thirty million naira) is being given to 25 first-degree students in total, which would cover their tuition costs for the duration of their university studies.
