The controversial pastor Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, well known as Odumeje, has received a call from maverick entertainer Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, to use his influence to prevent Nigeria from burning.
Nigeria’s economy is collapsing, and Charly Boy lamented this, saying that the nation is in dire need.
The entertainer mentioned that there is hunger in the whole country in a post on X.
According to Charly Boy: “Dear Odumeje, We Nigerians have humbly come to you – please can you stop the nation from burning, fire is catching, the economy is plummeting.
“We ask for your power in this desperate time of need.
“Abeg no mind Dangote, he get plenty money oo, this hunger no dey reach him side that’s why E no understand say E go humble before the Indabosky #Naijamatter.”
This is happening after President Bola Tinubu announced policies to address the nation’s food insecurity.
The Federal Government would execute a 150-Day Duty-Free Import Window for food items, according to the announcements made by Abubakar Kyari, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security.
He mentioned that the government will reduce import fees and taxes on cowpeas, wheat, maize, and husked brown rice within the allotted time.
