A team from the 14 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Ohafia, led by the newly appointed Brigade Commander, Brigadier General H.M. Bello, recently visited the Commissioner of Police for Abia State, CP Danladi Isa, at the State Headquarters in Umuahia.

During the Thursday visit, Bello, who has just taken over as Brigade Commander of 14 Brigade Ohafia, acknowledged the police as the primary security agency for internal security. He emphasized the need for comprehensive cooperation at all levels between the police and the Army to support security efforts within the state.

In response, Isa reiterated his dedication to fostering inter-agency collaboration.

He stressed the importance of sharing actionable intelligence and strengthening cooperation between the two security agencies to improve security operations and maintain peace and stability in Abia State.

The visit concluded with both agencies discussing further strategies to tackle crime in the state, reaffirming their shared commitment to maintaining professionalism and discipline among their personnel.
