Popular singer Tiwa Savage revealed that Olamide rejected her N100 million for a verse in one of her songs.
Olamide, the owner of the YBNL record label, rejected the money after his management billed her, according to a post Tiwa made on her Instagram page on Wednesday.
She mentioned that Olamide didn’t charge her since he was aware of the challenges faced by female musicians in the music industry.
Speaking of their relationship as siblings, Tiwa expressed gratitude to the rapper for showing her his caring and kind nature.
“I was talking to his management, I did not want to talk to him directly because he would want to do it for free. I was willing to pay and his team charged me N100m. When Olamide asked them who the artiste was, he just said NO. He won’t take it.
“He said I’m his sister and he knows how difficult it is for a woman to make it in the industry. And guess what? He gave the verse for free. Good people exist and Baddo is one,” she said.
