The University of Benin’s Main Auditorium was abuzz with excitement as students from various schools across Edo State gathered for The Future Conference & Spelling Bee Competition. This innovative event, hosted by Destiny Uanzekin, a passionate youth leader and advocate for education, aimed to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity
“The Future Conference & Spelling Bee Competition was born out of a vision to inspire young minds to dream bigger, think critically, and embrace challenges with confidence,” Destiny explained. “Through this platform, we are building a generation that is bold, innovative, and ready to shape the future.”

The event featured a stellar lineup of guests, speakers, and thought leaders from various educational and professional fields. They shared their expertise on the importance of education and why young people must prioritize it as the catalyst for a brighter future
The spelling bee competition was a thrilling highlight, with students showcasing their academic excellence and competing for cash prizes. The winners were awarded prizes, and their representative schools were also recognized.
Destiny Uanzekin advised the students, “To all students here today, I encourage you to believe in yourself. Excellence is not a destination but a continuous journey of learning, resilience, and hard work. The world is evolving, and the skills you acquire today will shape your future. Be curious, ask questions, and never settle for less than your best.”
Destiny Uanzekin expressed gratitude to the speakers, saying, “To our distinguished speakers, thank you for sharing your knowledge, experiences, and wisdom. Your words have inspired and empowered our young participants to aim higher and think differently. Your presence today has added immense value to this conference.
