According to a recent Vanguard report, the wife of Ahmad Adam Abba, a notorious terrorist accused of killing 17 people in Chad, claims that her husband concealed his terrorist activities from her throughout their marriage.

The Kano State Police Command arrested Abba’s wife and two of his associates during a crackdown on his network after he fled to Cameroon after being discovered at a Tijjaniyya religious event in Kano.

While being paraded by the police, Abba’s wife stated that her husband had concealed his terrorist activities throughout their marriage. She revealed that he frequently held secret meetings outside of their home, generally at his older brother’s residence. She said because of this, she said she was unaware of many things about his life until certain events raised her suspicions.

Abba’s wife stated that her doubts began after her husband returned from a trip to Chad at midnight and brought her a sack of Chadian cash. She stated that when questioned, her husband claimed to be a trader.
