Popular Yoruba actor Babatunde Tayo, better known as Baba Tee, has now admitted to having a brief sexual encounter with comedian and skit maker Ganiyu Morufu, also known as Dara, who is married to Lande.
Baba Tee made this revelation during a live interview with socialite Esabod and other TikTokers on Sunday, marking a change from his previous stance. Earlier, he had denied having an affair with Dara, challenging Lande to provide proof of the accusation.
Lande had claimed that his marriage to Dara ended after discovering her alleged infidelity, and he further alleged that at least 21 men in the entertainment industry were involved with her. Among the names he mentioned was Baba Tee, but initially, Baba Tee denied the affair, stating that he had only met Lande’s wife once through actress Marygold.
However, in a surprising twist, Baba Tee has now admitted to sleeping with Dara. He explained that the incident occurred during a “Truth or Dare” game with Dara and Marygold.
He said, “So immediately we began the game, Marygold went completely naked and was daring me consistently to Dara while she kept taking alcohol as a choice of not wanting to do the tasks that I demanded from her.
“Marygold now dared Dara to let me have a ‘quick’ sexual intercourse with her and she (Dara) obliged.
“I will not deny that I had a short sexual intercourse with her, it is the first time I am saying it. It is now that I discovered that it was a set-up by both of them to malign my personality.”
After making this admission, Esabod advised Baba Tee to apologize to Lande. Baba Tee then took to his official Facebook page on Monday, writing, “I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother, Lande. Deep how Dara became Lande’s wife without my knowledge… Hmmm. I fear women.”
Marygold, who was Lande’s manager, is believed to have recorded the sexual act between Baba Tee and Dara.
