The contentious Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has declared that he has forgotten about his late colleague Junior Pope’s supposed “backstabbing.”
According to ZINGTIE, Yul Edochie recently accused the late actor of betraying him, even though the actor treated him like a brother and a close friend and supported him when he needed it.
Additionally, he disclosed that he didn’t grieve for the deceased actor due to the purported treachery.
His accusations and revelations drew criticism, with many criticising him for harbouring resentment towards the deceased actor, among them his aunt Rita Edochie.
The actor said that he has forgiven Pope Junior, but he still felt badly about the supposed betrayal.
On his Instagram story, Edochie posted, “Speaking about forgiveness. I forgive him completely. It hurts deeply when a friend you love, took like a brother, stood for and shown love over the years turns around to stab you in the back repeatedly without remorse.
“Sadly, that’s the world we live. Humans are filled with flaws. To err is human, to forgive is divine. I forgive him & wish his family the very best.”
