Blogger Stanley Okoruwa, who is located in Lagos, has apologised publicly for bringing baseless accusations against well-known businessman Emeka Okonkwo, often known as E-Money, and Jennifer Awele, the late actor Junior Pope’s wife.

Remember how E-Money had started looking for two ladies and a man who said he had an affair with the actor’s subsequent wife?

Consequently, following E-Money’s petition against the insulting video, the blogger was taken into custody by the Lagos State Police Command.

In a surprising turn of events, the blogger apologised for his behaviour, withdrew his claims, and acknowledged that his main motivation for making the accusations was to increase the number of people who liked his Facebook page.

“E-Money, I am so sorry for tarnishing your image. I only made the video that E-Money was sleeping with Junior Pope’s wife just to gain more followers on Facebook,” he stated in an interview with Arise TV.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, announced that the blogger would face legal action for allegedly defaming E-Money in his web video.

He said that by reporting to the police, E-Money complied with the law.

“He is going to be prosecuted because the things he engaged in were criminal in nature. He has allegedly defamed E-money and he is going to be prosecuted,” Hundeyin stated.
