According to Endrick, Antonio Rüdiger, his teammate at Real Madrid, never gives him any credit.
After scoring twice in Thursday night’s 5-2 Copa del Rey victory over Celta Vigo, the Brazilian forward made this revelation.

After the visitors rallied from a 2-0 deficit to square the score in the 91st minute, Madrid avoided a fright in the last-16 match at the Bernabéu.

However, Carlo Ancelotti’s team advanced to the quarterfinals after scoring three goals in extra time.

After dedicating his brace to the German defender, Endrick has now complimented Rüdiger for helping him get through his goal drought.

“I keep working every day,” Endrick told Real Madrid TV.

“My two goals are for Antonio Rüdiger. He knows what he does for me every day. He never praises me, and that’s a good thing! He tells me what to do, to score, to run, to keep fighting.

“Yesterday in training he gave me a tough game. I was thinking about it at home, and he’s a great person. The goals are for him.”

Endrick had a strong start to the season, making his debut in both the Champions League and La Liga.

However, the 18-year-old has only played 83 league minutes this season and hasn’t scored since September 17.
