Popular celebrity ‘juju maestro’ Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki n’Oba has been apprehended by Anambra State vigilante operatives known as Agunechemba.

Akwa Okuko was arrested on Saturday, according to a post on the Soludo TV Facebook page.

The post stated that he was being detained for further investigation by the security service.

“Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki n’Oba denies okeite and has been detained for further investigation by the Security Agency,” the caption stated.

He was arrested on claims that he prepares juju for kidnappers who pose as yahoo guys to terrorise the state.

ZINGTIE announced that the state had passed the Anambra State Homeland Security Law, 2025.

The new rule puts severe penalties on native doctors who make or administer charms like as the infamous ‘Odeshi’, ‘Okeite’, and ‘Mkpu Egbe’.

Under the new law, offenders face six years in prison, a N20 million fine, or both.

The law aims to prevent the misuse of supernatural practices, which have been linked to a variety of criminal actions throughout the state.

ZINGTIE discovered that it specifically targets persons who make charms purporting to bring protection or wealth through illegal means, as well as those who publicly encourage such acts.
