The Ogun State Police Command has detained Olalekan Ogunjobi, a 65-year-old man, after a woman died at his home in the Ago-Iwoye neighbourhood of Ogun State.
According to reports, the deceased, 60-year-old Serifatu Disu, left her husband’s house to go see Ogunjobi at his flat in Konigba’s Fatimoh Castle.
The specifics of their relationship are yet unknown, however the police have established that the event happened on Wednesday at approximately 12:40 a.m.
Disu complained of chest trouble and passed out shortly after leaving the room, according to the order.
Disu reportedly lost consciousness and died as Ogunjobi tried to resuscitate her.
According to Chief Superintendent of Police Omolola Odutola, the spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, the Divisional Police Officer of Ago-Iwoye was immediately alerted and arrived at the scene.
