Nigerian hip-hop artist Tochukwu Ojogwu, widely recognized by his stage name Odumodublvck, has named the key figures he considers mentors in the music industry.

The Declan Rice hitmaker identified Olamide Adedeji, also known as Olamide and head of YBNL, alongside Don Jazzy, the founder of Mavin Records, as his industry godfathers.

He made this known via social media on Thursday, confidently stating that with the support of both men, no one can intimidate him.

In a post on his X account, he wrote, “Baddo [Olamide] and Don Jazzy na my musical godfathers. Nobody fit oppress me.”

It’s worth noting that in 2024, Odumodublvck shared that Olamide was responsible for his first experience flying on a private jet.

He had also earlier mentioned that Don Jazzy once provided him with financial support during a challenging phase in his career.
