Comrade Akpobome Francis, convener of the NDV, praised the company’s efforts in promoting workers’ welfare, including prompt and regular salary payments. He also commended the company’s commitment to operating within government regulations and international best practices.
Francis congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration on its achievement of increasing oil production by 800,000 barrels per day in just 18 months. “This is a remarkable feat that exceeds OPEC targets for the first time in four years,” he said. “It marks the beginning of prosperity for the oil and gas industry and the nation.”
The NDV noted that Pipeline Infrastructure Nigerian Limited has set a high standard for corporate excellence in the oil and gas sector. “The company’s commitment to safety, security, and sustainability is commendable,” the group said. “By prioritizing the welfare of its workers and host communities, Pipeline Infrastructure Nigerian Limited has demonstrated that responsible business practices can coexist with profitability.
