In a recent documentary, it seems that one of R. Kelly’s daughter claims the singer—who is presently in jail—did something inappropriate and painful when she was a child.

R. Kelly’s children openly discuss their relationship with their father and the drama he is currently dealing with in a documentary teaser that is making the rounds on the internet.

Drea Kelly, the singer’s ex-wife, can also be seen sobbing over what he allegedly did to their children.

“What he did to me, he did to me. Shouldn’t have to do it to my damn kids,” she said.

‘What he has done to those kids, there is no other words for them. He’s a monster,” a voice is heard saying in the trailer.

Additionally, his daughter Joanne Kelly, popularly known as Buku Abi, makes reference to a tragic incident that occurred in her early years.

“He was my everything,” she said, sobbing.

“For a long time, I didn’t even want to believe that he had been… I didn’t know that even if he was a bad person that he would do something to me.

“I really feel like that one millisecond completely just changed my whole life.”

She added: “If my son asks questions, I will be as truthful as possible. I will not be taking my son to prison to meet his grandfather.”

The documentary, which has Mann Robinson @mannrobinson as executive producer, will be released on October 11th.

Following his arrest and subsequent convictions on federal racketeering and sex trafficking counts involving the sexual abuse of minors, Kelly’s career took a negative turn in 2019.
