President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed a deadly attack by Russia in Kryvyi Rih.
In a post on his official X account on Thursday, the President stated that a rescue operation continued throughout the night following the attack. He revealed that a “ballistic missile struck an ordinary hotel,” resulting in the deaths of at least four individuals and injuring more than 30 others.
Zelenskyy explained that prior to the attack, volunteers from a humanitarian organization, along with citizens from Ukraine, the United States, and the United Kingdom, had checked into the hotel. Fortunately, they survived because they were able to evacuate their rooms in time.
“They survived because they managed to get down from their rooms in time.
“Unfortunately, four people were killed in this attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
“In total, more than 30 people were injured, and all have received the necessary medical assistance”, Zelenskyy added.
