President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after attending John Drahami Mahama’s inauguration in Accra, Ghana.
According to reports, Tinubu left Lagos for Ghana on Tuesday to witness the inauguration of John Dramani Mahama, the president of Ghana.
The Mahama, who had already met the Nigerian leader earlier in December, invited the trip.
The Presidency spokeswoman, Bayo Onanuga, had revealed that Tinubu accepted Mahama’s personal invitation to attend the function as a special guest of honor.
On Wednesday, January 8, Dada Olusegun, his Special Assistant on Social Media, posted a video announcing the President’s arrival in Abuja.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returns to Abuja from Accra to Abuja after President Mahama’s swearing-in and inauguration ceremony,” the post read.
