Tochi Martins Attah, a 300-level student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) in Awka, Anambra State, tragically passed away after collapsing during a football match on July 7, 2025. The incident occurred at the Elmada Hostel premises within the university.

Tochi, popularly known as “T-Funds,” was initially studying Microbiology but had recently switched to a medical course. He was the younger brother of Dr. Simon Attah, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The President of Useh Youths, Engr. Sabastine Aku, confirmed Tochi’s death in a statement, expressing deep sorrow over the loss. The statement read: “With heavy heart but total submission to God’s will, the Attah family and entire Useh Village sadly announce the passing of our son, brother and friend, Late Tochi Martins (a.k.a ‘T-Funds Exchange’). May God accept his soul and grant the family comfort during this difficult time.”
