A video of a young kid who has been in the UK for two months requesting to be returned to Nigeria has sparked reactions on social media.
His mother, who shared the video on TikTok, expressed amazement at his insistence on going back to Nigeria.
She had not anticipated such a demand when they had moved to the UK.
According to the child in the video, he doesn’t like the UK because it’s chilly, and he enjoys Ibadan because it’s warm.
“The UK is freezing, Mom. The cold weather in the UK bothers me. I’d like to return to Ibadan. It’s raining in the UK, but it’s bright in Ibadan,” he said.
The unfazed child insisted that they all return to Nigeria.
“Let’s go back to Ibadan because UK is cold…
“Let’s go back to Nigeria. Nigeria is warm.”
Many internet users were offended by his mother’s response, which mocked his demand and said that people in Nigeria were suffering.
