Social media users expressed their sorrow when a Nigerian woman shared her heartbreaking story of a theft incidence that occurred at her home.

The woman, who lives in an unfinished structure, disclosed that burglars broke into her house by taking advantage of the roof’s incompleteness.

The victim, @ okingeneration3011 on TikTok, posted a heartbreaking video of the break-in’s aftermath.

She displayed her disorganized possessions and distressed kids outside the house in the video.

She shared the video and pleaded with others to help, saying that the robbers had taken her phones and ATM card, among other necessities.

In her words: “I have to go borrow money buy phone now so that my children will not die of hunger. Everybody please help me o. Some thieves came to the house and climbed this block and entered through the roof. They carried my ATM, two phones. Please help me o. My children have not eaten.”

The woman’s fervent request was not ignored, as TikTok users came together to support and encourage her.

Many said they would be prepared to give her money to help her deal with the immediate fallout from the theft.
