As she described the horrific incident of being attacked by a passenger who attempted to take her bus batteries while she was riding, a female Danfo driver broke down in tears.
The driver, who was clearly shaken, described the occurrence in a video posted to TikTok. She clarified that the man had mentioned going to law school when she had picked him up near the Oriental Hotel.
But while traveling, the driver caught a glimpse of the passenger trying to steal the bus battery in her mirror. He responded furiously and physically attacked her when she confronted him.
The driver, clearly distraught, shared her account: “I picked this boy up from under the bridge near Oriental Hotel, and he said he was going to LASU. While I was watching him in the mirror, I saw him trying to steal my battery.”
“I got down to confront him, and he started beating me. Look at my face, look at my clothes—he stripped me. Is this how he should have treated me?”
