Video of the home where Timi Ajayi is accused of killing his girlfriend has been taken by a journalist.

Salome Adaidu, a 24-year-old National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, is accused of being cold-bloodedly killed by her lover, Timi Ajayi.

Since confessing to the killing, the suspect—a gospel musician named Timi Ajayi—has maintained that he killed his fiancée in order to break up with her.

In the meantime, a News Central TV journalist visited the residence where the horrific crime was reportedly committed.

News Central TV’s Abuja bureau chief, Amadin Uyi, reported from the street and provided a view of the house.

According to Amadin, as the unpleasant news spread online, the residents of the house fled.

The house is in the Papalada community, which is allegedly situated between the states of Nasarawa, Abuja, and the Federal Capital Territory.

Amadin stated: “Now, this residence is where the suspected ritual killer, Timi Ajayi lives. We have not been able to gain access into the residence because it is locked. And we hear that the inhabitants, a lot of them have fled.”

Amadin also talked to other Papalada residents who claimed to know the suspect.

According to one of the speakers, the tragic event sent the entire community into mourning.

He said: “Yes, I used to see him in this community. I see him as a young gentleman. But I’m surprised the way the news broke out. I happen to witness things myself live on Sunday afternoon. Everyone is scared. Everybody sees the next person as a suspect. The news is everywhere that everybody is just mourning at the moment.”

Samson Omale, another local resident, expressed his rage over the young woman’s passing. Samson claimed that he was related to the deceased Salome and that they both came from the same area.

Samson stated: “Really, I didn’t feel okay. It was so bad. I found out that this girl that has been killed at the back of my house is my blood, we are the same family. Really, I’m not happy and I’m not excited. The worse is that she is my blood. I’m not happy. Let everybody that hear this news, let them play justice.”
