2024 WWCQ: Falconets boss, Danjuma unveils squad for Burundi clash

The Falconets’ 19-player team for their 2024 Women’s U-20 World Cup qualifying match against Burundi has been revealed by head coach Chris Danjuma.

Sunday’s opening leg of the final round qualifying tie will take place at Dar es Salaam’s Azam Sports Complex.

A week later, the rematch would be held at Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

Danjuma continued faith in regular talents like Taiwo Afolabi, Aminat Folorunso, Opeyemi Ajakaye, and keeper Faith Omilana.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has assigned Nonjabulo Nonhle Ndlela, a South African official, to officiate the game as a referee.

Maneo Evodia Tau and Nandipha Menze, two of her compatriots, will take over as assistant referees one and two, respectively.

Nteboheleng The fourth official is Theresia Setoko, a Lesotho national.
