2027: PDP sends important message to all Nigerians

PDP Northwest, the Peoples Democratic Party, has restated its goal of taking back control in 2027.

The PDP Northwest Chairman, Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo, released a statement following a strategic meeting that reaffirmed the party’s determination to assume its proper position in national leadership.

“The PDP of the Northwest zone should take its rightful position in the nation by providing quality leadership,” the communiqué stated.

“All internal conflicts at the national level must be resolved swiftly because Nigerians are looking to PDP for leadership.”

The party emphasized that unity is essential to success in 2027, despite obstacles from the general elections in 2023. It also reiterated its strong grassroots support and the growing national tilt toward the PDP.

“We call for unity among party members so that we can solve our problems and ensure victory in 2027. All hands must be on deck to take over leadership in our states and at the national level,” the communiqué added.

Important PDP figures attended the high-profile meeting, including Senator Ahmed Makarfi, a former governor of Kaduna State; Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, a former governor of Kano State; Mustapha Sule Lamido, a PDP candidate for governor of Jigawa; Senator Lado Dan Marke; Hon. Isa Ashiru Kudan; Hon. Ango Abdullahi; and the PDP National Youth Leader, among others.
