2027: PDP tells members in Ovwian Ward 7 the tactics of APC

PDP leaders in Delta State’s Ovwian Ward 7 of the Udu Local Government Area have cautioned their supporters from falling for any tricks to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

At a meeting at the town hall of the Ovwian Community, the PDP leaders issued the warning and urged members to stay and support the party in regaining the mandate that was stolen from the local governments to the president.

Former PDP Ward 7 leader Odjeku Matthew Uparan claimed in a statement that the people they recruited into the party were the ones who were misleading them. He also assured party members that the leaders would not betray their confidence as long as they were in the PDP.

“There’s no other party apart from the PDP in Ovwian Ward 7.

“Nobody should deceive you to join APC. Stay in PDP and work for the party, if the APC comes to you, tell them to stay in their APC and let’s stay in our PDP.”

Another party Chieftain, Lawson .A. Oghoifo said those who defected to the APC had been problematic within the PDP before their defection.

He asserted that the PDP has achieved freedom since their defection, which is cause for celebration.

According to Oghoifo, the PDP leaders are not fleeing since they are not robbers. “Who is the thief who fled? We are not thieves. Thus, we are unable to abandon PDP.
