Vice President Kashim Shettima is being humiliated by discussions of a running mate for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election, according to Prof. Udenta Udenta, the founding national secretary of the Alliance for Democracy.

A fellow of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thought, Udenta made an appearance on Channels Television’s “Sunrise Daily” show on Monday.

He claimed that the fact that governors and other APC members supported Tinubu’s ambition for a second term while excluding Shettima demonstrated that the party had a strategy in place.

Additionally, Udenta criticized the APC National Working Committee for claiming that Tinubu’s running partner would be chosen following the party convention, arguing that this should not be the case.
